Hardscaping is not just work for us. It is our living style. It is what makes us breathe.
That sense is very much tied to how we do our work. We like to get outside, work with different properties and watch an idea come to life as the project evolves.
Based in Leominster, we work with homeowners on patios, walkways, driveways, stairs, walls, outdoor living areas and other hardscape projects.
We also provide landscape and property services, giving us the ability to look beyond one individual part of the yard.
For us, a good outdoor project should make sense with the home and with everything that is already around it. That’s why we start by looking at the property, listening to what the homeowner wants, and figuring out what will work best from there.
Outdoor spaces are connected. A new patio affects the area around it. A walkway needs to work with the entrance to the home. A retaining wall may change how part of the yard can be used. Because our work includes both hardscape and landscape services, we can keep those connections in mind throughout the project.

You don’t need to come to us with everything figured out. Some homeowners know exactly what they want. Others just know there’s an area of the yard they would like to change.
Both are good places to start.
We take the time to look at the property and talk about how you use the space, what isn’t working now, and what you’d like to do differently.
From there, we can talk through the layout, materials, and options that make the most sense for your home and your project.
There isn’t one solution that works for every property. The existing features of the home and the yard, and how the homeowner wants to use the space all matter. That’s why we don’t like to do one-size-fits-all with outdoor projects.
A patio doesn’t stop at the edge of the pavers. There may be a lawn next to it, a path leading up to it, a wall nearby or a slope to consider.
Looking at the whole property we can make decisions that work on more than just one feature.
Much of the work that makes a project work happens before anyone ever sees the finished surface.
We care about preparation, materials, layout and the small details along the way. They all effect the final result.
There are a lot of decisions that go into outdoor projects but it doesn’t have to be complicated.
We review the options, address any questions and help the homeowner understand what makes sense for their home before we move forward.
At the end of the day, we want to be able to look back at a project and say we are proud of what we built.
That means doing work that looks right for the property, works the way it should, and is something we’re comfortable putting the Orion name on.
